By combining therapies through either talking therapy, rieki, meditation, colour therapy or meditation I can help  children and young people with depression, anxiety, low self worth, anger and low attention span while increasing their joy and resilience.

Parenting a child is one of the hardest and most important jobs, that as adults, we will ever have to do. When our children are sick or are having problems, we can feel powerless as to what way to help them. I worked helping children for over 20 years, yet when it came to my own children having problems and my emotions were involved all my experience went straight out of the window, so do not feel that you are on your own. Most parents get anxious about their child at some point.  Some children find it difficult to express their worries, for many different reasons, which mean that problems can go unresolved and undetected. It is often helpful at this point to speak with a professional.

I have set up practice to help children with their problems as I know the effect our childhood experiences can have on us for the rest of our lives if we do not know how to deal with them. Dealing with these problems can be very difficult not only for your child but for yourself as well, which is why I also work with the main carer, usually a parent. I use a combination of complimentary therapy and counseling skills. This will be mainly Reiki and Spectro Chrome Therapy ( coloured lights) The idea of this is to build up your strength by boosting self esteem, confidence and generally feel stronger at being able to deal with situations as they arise.

As you know your child better than anybody else your input with my work with your child is essential.  My work is not only to help your child talk about that the issues that are distressing them, but for them to to make the transition from opening up to me to being able to talk to you about current and any further issues.

Everything is treated in confidence and in a non judgmental manner.

As a cautionary note if you have concerns about your child’s health consult a medical practitioner.
